Why can't I just stage my own home?
It is difficult for a home seller to see their home objectively. Homes are a very personal reflection of ourselves and our families and hold many memories, which doesn't allow us to see its flaws in a way others might see them. Not seeing your home in an objective light will not enable you to market it properly nor will potential buyers be able to connect with it and imagine themselves living there. Just as a a doctor pays someone to work on his car, real estate agents and home sellers must rely on certified home stagers to stage homes for quick sale and for maximum profit.
